Welcome To My Blog

I'm a grad student working on a plan for an anti chafing athletic lubricant for use by long distance bicyclists, triathletes, long distance runners, and possibly more.

I am interested in any of your experiences with uncomfortable athletic chafing that you may have experienced from too many hours on a bike saddle or from your wet suit. For runners, are there any products that you currently use on your thighs or chest to reduce irritation?

Currently, products that are being used to reduce chafing are Vaseline, Body Glide, Butt Butter, and Assos (to name a few)

I'm interested in hearing what products you use, type of events you participate in (if cycling, how many miles do you ride) triathlons (are you an Ironman?) and why do you use these products. I'm also interested in your likes and dislikes about the products that you currently use (for me, I strongly dislike Vaseline as it's greasy and kills my bike shorts!)

Thanks for stopping by and participating!
Dr. Robbin

Dr. Robin,
Clown Boy here. Dr. have you come up with a rub for a clown car? I may need to buy an SUV.
Great job on your blog.

Great blog I hope I never need this rub but if I do I know where to turn!!!

Dr. Robin, I think your ointment should not be limited to athletes. You should also broden your sights. Market it to the heavy people trying to get in shape. When they walk their thighs rub together. Just a thought....

i am looking for a product that isnt too greasy, wont stain my clothes, will last more than one bathroom trip and provides the anti chafing you are looking for. if you can master that, you'll have a solid product.
